Thank you. On 9 September 2026, nearly 1,700 delegates from 83 countries joined the Global Aorta Symposium. Our deepest thanks to the international faculty, chairs, patient advocates and every delegate who answered the mission.
Somewhere in the world, right now, an aorta is tearing. One in three dissections is misdiagnosed at first contact. For Type A dissection, mortality without surgery is 1–2% per hour. Time is not a background variable — it is part of the disease.
This symposium exists because the next advance in aortic care will not be one device, one scan, or one guideline. It will be the system — and building it demands every specialty, every country, and every person in the chain of care, in the same room.
